The Sears "I Can Swim" Program

Due to popular demand, The Oakville Aquatic Club is offering, once again, the nationally recognized "I Can Swim" program.

The lessons are taught out of Appleby College Pool (540 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville). They are designed by Swimming/Natation Canada, the program teaches individuals of all ages the fundamental skills of swimming.

Emphasis is on the individual swimmer's needs with only 5 students per instructor. Certified instructors use continuous encouragement and positive feedback to teach strokes, turns, entries and water safety.

Parent Testimonials:

The Oakville Aquatics "I Can Swim" program is fantastic! My children have progressed dramatically.......teaching staff is great - friendly, courteous and fun. (December 2007)

Great program. Teachers are wonderful. The students have improved their skill level while having fun. Like the student to teacher ratio, as there is a lot of one on one attention. It's great to be able to watch at the pool side. Keep up the great work! (December 2007)

The program worked out very well for us. Much better than other programs we've tried. Instructors are very good with the kids. (December 2007)
